Sleep Apnea Treatment
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. People with sleep apnea often snore loudly and may not feel well rested even after a full night's sleep.
Sleep Apnea can often be treated with only lifestyle changes, such as losing weight or quitting smoking, or treating nasal allergies if present. More serious cases may require treatment with an oral appliance designed to keep your throat open. These are more convenient than bulky and loud CPAP machines and may be wholly sufficient depending on the severity of your condition.
A number of sleep apnea treatment devices are available. We can help you try different devices and find the right one for you. Once you have the right fit, we can follow up to ensure efficacy and address any changes in your signs and symptoms.
